Michael Caterbone

Michael Caterbone joins InsurTech Express as Senior Vice President of Sales, bringing more than 30 years of experience in the financial services industry and a proven record of sales leadership, relationship development, and business growth.

Most recently, Michael served as a sales leader at Global Atlantic, where he held senior leadership roles including Divisional Vice President. In that position, he led 15 Regional Vice Presidents across the Southeast, consistently exceeded divisional sales goals, maintained strong compliance standards, and managed the division within budget. Earlier at Global Atlantic, he served as Regional Wholesaler/Vice President, where he rebuilt annuity sales across the South Florida market and consistently ranked among the company’s top sales producers nationally.

Throughout his career, Michael has built and led successful sales strategies across insurance, annuities, investments, and financial services. His experience includes leadership and sales roles with Fidelity Investments, Global Benefits Group, Lincoln Financial Distributors, AIM Investments, and SunAmerica Insurance Company, working closely with financial advisors, broker-dealers, wirehouses, and distribution partners.

Michael has consistently demonstrated an ability to develop strong teams, strengthen strategic relationships, and create measurable growth. At Lincoln Financial Distributors, he increased territory sales by more than 300% within his first 24 months, while at AIM Investments he earned multiple Top Wholesaler and Top Annuity Producer honors. His experience also includes helping launch a Latin American product and distribution channel at Global Benefits Group.

Before entering financial services, Michael competed professionally in football with the Miami Dolphins of the NFL and the Ottawa Rough Riders of the CFL, an experience that helped shape the discipline, competitiveness, teamwork, and leadership approach he has carried throughout his career.

Michael holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from Franklin & Marshall College and has held FINRA Series 7, 65, 63, and 24 licenses, along with Life and Variable Insurance licenses.
