AdamsBridge Has Introduced Two Optional Features To Its Popular Consolidated Medical Record

AdamsBridge, a medical data annotation organization, has introduced two optional features to its popular Consolidated Medical Record (or Summary).

When asked to describe these new options, Peter Iras, Executive Director said, “we have seen the struggles of finding underwriting resources to manage volume, but with our newest feature, you can now add a directional decision or outright decline to the summary BEFORE it goes to the underwriter for review.”

Recent numbers show that declines have gotten close to 18%, so why would you want to spend time and money on a file that you cannot place? “He continued “we already have a Snapshot, which is an outline of key impairments/medical history of the insured, or a summary of a summary, so the next logic progression is to look at key data that points to a decision.”

The “Decline” option highlights only potential key data from the snapshot of key impairments. The “Directional Decision” potentially covers all the underwriting decisions on a case. Underwriting decisions ranging from Preferred, Standard, Low rating, Mild to Moderate rating,

The goal was to bring down the cost of sale by screening out “non placeable business” and giving the underwriter the option to route the case based on complexity.
