THE OPPORTUNITY

We are looking for a well-spoken and resourceful individual with excellent presentation skills to join the Betterview team as a Sales Engineer. This role supports the sales process and sales team for new and existing customers as they evaluate Betterview’s product and determine how and where it can meet the needs of their business. To be successful in this role, a Sales Engineer needs to gain a deep understanding of Betterview’s product, including its functionality, data, and interface points. Further, the Sales Engineer should understand how Betterview’s existing customers are leveraging its product and deriving value for their business. WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

  • Lead product demonstration efforts.
    • Create and maintain demo scripts with ideal example properties tailored to the roles of the audience participants (i.e. personal lines vs. commercial lines, underwriting vs. loss-control vs. claims, etc.).
    • Deliver demos to prospective customers.
    • Answer detailed technical questions that arise during demos.
  • Customize and distribute client-specific examples and product literature
    • Work with Product Marketing to provide input on documents and samples that the sales team needs based on customer feedback.
    • Respond to requests for more information from prospective customers with the ideal information to meet their needs.
  • Provide product, service, or technical details and engineering information by answering questions and requests.
  • Run coverage analysis reports and present the results for customers as they evaluate Betterview’s imagery coverage.
  • Gain customer acceptance by explaining or demonstrating cost reductions and operation improvements.
  • Identify areas where Betterview can improve its customer satisfaction and repeat business, communicate issues and possible solutions to sales team.
  • Drive the POC (proof-of-concept) process, including giving an overview presentation, create a report on the results, and present the findings to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Answer detailed questions about the data that is available in the product and the ways in which that data is available to customers (i.e. via UI, API, Guidewire, and/or CSV/XLSX).
  • Educate the sales team and prospective customers on the product roadmap, especially functionality that has recently been released or is planned for an upcoming release.
  • Provide support to the Sales team and contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

THE OPPORTUNITY

Product Manager

National Sales and Partnerships Leader

Your responsibility will be to develop and close new business in the US market specifically targeting (Insurance carriers, Mortgage lenders and Digital affinity groups). You will help to shape the direction of the Digital Distribution channel and be the face of the channel in the respective markets promoting value proposition and overall digital capabilities. SUMMARY:

The .Net Developer is responsible for designing, modifying, developing, writing and implementing software programming applications and components; supporting and/or installing software applications and components; works from written specifications and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job and maintains documentation of process flow.  This role will reside under the supervision of the Chief Technology Officer.

 

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES AND FUNCTIONS:

      2.        Design, code and test new Windows and web software applications
